Camden Bus 9 is running 30-45 minutes late today, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, due to mechanical issues.

Camden Junior High School is having its annual softball tryouts on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Camden City Park starting at 5:30 PM. These tryouts will be closed to parents, and interested players need to bring their equipment. This is for all upcoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.


Please help us in celebrating our seniors' accomplishments as they prepare for the next step in their education.

The Alice in wonderland event has been moved to inside CHS today, Friday, April 25, 2025. Please enter through front doors. The event will be held in the Library and Hallways of the school.

Camden bus #9 will run an hour & half late this afternoon, Wednesday, April 16, due to bus driver shortage.

Benton County Schools will be dismissing tomorrow, Wednesday, April 16th at 12 pm for the funeral services of Mr. James “Mayo” Hampton.

Big Sandy bus #16 will be an hour late and Camden bus #5 will be one and a half hour late this afternoon, Monday, April 7.

Holladay Bus #48 was involved in a minor accident this morning, Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Fortunately, all students and the driver are unharmed. However, the bus will arrive late at the school as they are waiting for law enforcement to respond.

‼️CAMDEN JUNIOR HIGH BOYS’ BASKETBALL TRYOUTS‼️
Boys’ Basketball tryouts for upcoming 7th and 8th Graders will be on THURSDAY, MARCH 27th, from 4:45 to 6:45 at CAMDEN JUNIOR HIGH. Doors will open at 4:40. Please be here to pick your child up at 6:40.
Boys’ Basketball tryouts for upcoming 6th Graders will be on FRIDAY, MARCH 28th, at CAMDEN JUNIOR HIGH from 3:15 to 4:30. Please be here to pick your child up at 4:25.
Any current 5th-7th grade boy is eligible to tryout.
These will be CLOSED tryouts. Parents/Guardians will need to drop their athlete off at the junior high and pick them up at the end of the tryout. Parents/Guardians are not permitted to stay in the building during the tryout.
Please wear appropriate athletic clothing and shoes to participate fully in the tryout.

There will be an informational meeting on March 27 at 5 pm in the CHS library for upcoming Juniors and their parents to learn about the Middle College Program through Jackson State. Students must have a 3.0 or higher grade point average to be eligible for the program. Staff from CHS and Jackson State and current middle college students will be available to provide information about the program and answer questions.
