Benton County Schools is currently experiencing a temporary interruption to our regular school phone systems while system upgrades are being completed.
During this time, each school can still be reached using the emergency contact numbers below:

The afternoon routes of Camden bus #9 will be 1.5 hours late this week (Sept. 28-Oct. 2, 2026). The morning bus schedule for bus #9 will run at the normal time this week.
On Thursday (September 24, 2026), the afternoon route of Camden bus #12 will be 1.5 hours late. The morning bus schedule of bus #12 will run on time tomorrow.

On Monday (September 21, 2026), the afternoon route of Camden bus #12 will be 1.5 hours late. In addition, the afternoon routes of Camden bus #15 will be 1.5 hours late this upcoming week. The morning bus routes will run at their normal times.
The afternoon bus routes of Camden buses #12 & #15 will run 1.5 hours late for the rest of this week (September 16-18, 2026). The morning bus schedules will operate at the normal times.
On Tuesday (September 15, 2026) the morning and afternoon routes of Camden bus #15 will run 1.5 hours late. Also, the afternoon route of Camden bus #12 will run 1.5 hours late.

Camden Jr. High celebrated some seriously impressive attendance during a special assembly, recognizing 126 students AND 37 faculty/staff members for achieving PERFECT ATTENDANCE for the entire month of August! 🎉
That means no sleeping through the alarm. No mysteriously disappearing on a Monday. No deciding the bed was just too comfortable. 😂
163 Lions showed up. Every. Single. Day.
And that deserves to be celebrated!
Congratulations to our students, faculty, and staff for setting the standard and proving that success starts with simply showing up. 💛🖤

Camden Bus 29 is running about 30 minutes late this morning.
All Camden schools were placed in a soft lockdown as a precautionary measure due to an ongoing law enforcement situation off campus. This action was taken at the recommendation of local law enforcement and is not the result of any threat originating at any of our schools.

As the Camden Lions take on the Waverly Tigers, we invite our community to join us for a special evening of remembrance, gratitude, and honor as we recognize the first responders of Benton County, Humphreys County, and all communities represented in attendance.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. We remember the lives lost that day, the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away, and the countless first responders who continue that legacy of service every single day.

Different uniforms. Different responsibilities. One shared commitment to answering the call when someone needs help.
At approximately 6:35 PM, before the game, first responders in attendance will be invited onto the field at Tommy Richardson Stadium to be recognized by our community.
To every first responder who has missed a meal, lost sleep, left family behind at a moment’s notice, stepped into uncertainty, comforted someone on their worst day, or simply answered when the call came:

Thank you for your courage.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for your service.
And thank you for protecting and caring for our communities.
