School closed for holidays.
The Elves have officially left the shelf! 🎄🏠

We’ve heard of "Elf on the Shelf," but at Camden Elementary, we prefer "Administrators on the Eaves!"

Our students got a massive holiday surprise this morning when they spotted some very familiar faces keeping a watchful eye from the rooftop. A huge shoutout to our incredible admin team for braving the heights and the chilly air to make sure our students started their day with literal "high" spirits!

There is truly no limit to what our staff will do to bring a smile to these kids' faces. ❤️❄️

It’s disappointing to say that tonight’s cookies and milk with Santa at Camden Elementary School is canceled. The threat of bad weather has everyone concerned, and we’d rather keep everyone safe. Hopefully, Santa can find time in his busy North Pole schedule to join us another day for some fun, cookies, and milk.

Dear Families and Staff, Earlier today, Camden Central High School administration was made aware of a potential verbal threat to school safety. Law enforcement are currently investigating the report. Based on their investigation a verbal threat was made by a student, but it's been determined that there is not an imminent threat to school safety. A new Tennessee law requires school districts to notify families whenever law enforcement is contacted in connection with a potential school threat. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. We encourage everyone in our community to continue reporting any concerns they may have. If you see or hear something that could represent a safety issue, please speak up. We will communicate with you if additional information becomes available. In the meantime, thank you for your attention to this update. Sincerely, Mark Florence, Director of Schools
